Our first manuscript, Wander Whiskers: A New Beginning, is complete. Now it's time for Mama, Daddy, Finn, Saige and Milo to come to life.
Our current destination is professional character development. Our illustrator is creating the official character designs that will establish how the Wander Whiskers family looks, feels and interacts throughout their adventures.
Founding Family support helps us take this first major step, and continue the journey toward illustrating and publishing Book 1.

The number 53 represents the adventure ahead, and the 53 families who can say they helped Wander Whiskers get started from the very beginning.

Want to help, but $50 isn't right for you?
You don't have to become a Founding Family to help Wander Whiskers take its first steps. Support the Journey lets you contribute a smaller amount toward the creation and launch of Wander Whiskers.
This is not a Founding Family spot. Support the Journey contributions do not include Founding Family status, a copy of Book 1, a numbered certificate or bookplate, or the other Founding Family benefits.
Wander Whiskers is a business, not a charity, so nothing given here is a tax deductible donation.

Questions worth answering.
When will I receive my copy of Book 1?
Wander Whiskers: A New Beginning is currently in development. Founding Families will receive their included paperback after the book has been completed and published. We are not putting a date on that yet, because we would rather get it right than get it fast. Founding Families will hear about every step along the way.
How is my Founding Family number assigned?
Numbers are assigned in the order Founding Family packages are purchased, beginning with #1 and ending with #53. Your digital certificate and your signed bookplate carry the same number.
Can I choose how my family is recognized?
Yes. At checkout you can give us the name you would like us to use, for example:
- The Russo Family
- The Smith Family
- Grandma Jane
- Mrs. Johnson's Class
- Another individual or family name
Public recognition is optional. If you would rather not appear on the website, we will still record your family privately and your number is still yours.
What happens when all 53 spots are taken?
Founding Family enrollment closes permanently. You will still be able to follow Wander Whiskers, buy the books when they are available, and support future adventures, but no additional Founding Family numbers will be issued.
Is this a donation?
No. Wander Whiskers is a business, not a charitable organization. The $50 Founding Family option is a purchase that includes the benefits described on this page. Other financial support is not a tax deductible charitable contribution.
